Assistant Director of Development & Alumni Relations
B.A., Albion College
M.Ed., University of Vermont
Ed.D., Vanderbilt University (expected May 2016)
A native of South Carolina, Meagan joined the development office in 2009 and brings a wide breadth of knowledge with her from her prior work within the Provost Office at the University of Vermont, her service on the Albion College Board of Trustees, and several internships in the areas of admissions, athletics, and development. She is deeply committed to helping to provide the resources needed to make a Vanderbilt theological education possible and is passionate about fostering life-long relationships with and between our alumni/ae.
Meagan is married to the Rev. Eric Burton-Krieger, MDiv’12, who is the Pastor of Group Life for Adults at Brentwood United Methodist Church just outside of Nashville. When she is not out visiting with Divinity alumni/ae and friends, in class, or volunteering around Nashville, you may run into her at the dog park with their perfect pooch, Magnolia, cheering loudly at any Vanderbilt athletic event, or playing intramural sports with the Divinity School’s team.
